The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) says it will miss President Michael Sata and the role he played during his tenure and as patron of the association.
FAZ Communications Manager Nkweto Tembwe said in a statement released to ZANIS in Lusaka today that the association enjoyed good political will and support in their duty to administer football from the late head of state.
He said FAZ has learnt about the demise of President Sata with a deep sense of shock and regret.
Mr Tembwe has since conveyed the association’s condolences to the bereaved family, the ruling Patriotic Front and the people of Zambia.
