NATSAVE launches point of sale facility in Kaputa


Kaputa October 20,2014—The National Savings and Credit Bank (NATSAVE) has launched a Point of Sale facility in Kaputa District
which will allow its customers access banking services without being in the bank.


NATSAVE Kaputa Branch Manager, Emmanuel Musonda said the facility will enable customers have minimal contact with the bank when making
transactions as they will use the point of sale to access banking services.


Mr Musonda described the launch of the service as an important milestone for the bank and its customers as it has encompassed modern
technology to deliver banking services.


He disclosed that the service will be accessible to all NATSAVE customers and Zamlink card holders’ across the country.


Mr Musonda said this at the launch of the Point of Sale facility in Kaputa district yesterday.


He explained that the bank whose core function is to promote financial
inclusion through the provision of financial services to all un-banked areas will continue to develop such programs.


Mr Musonda also reiterated that the bank will extend the Point of Sale facility to all parts of Kaputa and Nsama districts

And Kaputa District Commissioner, Chrispine Kachusha has commended the
bank for being innovative and introducing services that will simplify the way of doing business.


Mr Kachusha said the initiative is in line with government’s policy of reaching all underserved areas with banking services.

The DC notes that the coming of the facility will also entail that people will be accessing banking services and buying goods from NATSAVE agents without rushing to the bank.


And Acting Chieftainess Kaputa who attended the lunch of the facility has encouraged residents to keep their money in the banks to avoid
theft and other calamities.


The traditional leader said NATSAVE has one of the cheaper bank charges which everyone can afford.
