Man, 26, hangs himself to death

Shiwang’andu, 15 October, 2014, ZANIS… A 26 – year- old man of Shiwang’andu district in Muchinga Province has committed suicide by hanging himself in his house using a rope.

According to police sources the incident occurred on 12 October 2014 around 21:00 hours.

ZANIS reports that the deceased has been identified as Joseph Kampamba 26 of Chipatala village in chief Chibesakunda‘s chiefdom.

The motive behind the suicide is not yet known but that relatives to the deceased suspect foul play as there were traces of physical injuries on Kampamba’s body.

The body of Kampamba is currently lying in Chinsali district hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem and police and since launched investigations.
