Current constitution is a heart without a shell – Sunday Chanda

Mr. Chanda has told QFM News in an interview that the need to have a new republican constitution is unavoidable.

He says he feels offended that some sections of the media wrote something he did not say on the constitution knowing too well that the country needs a new constitution.

Mr Chanda says the current constitution is a heart without a shell and thus the need to change it.

He states that the Zambian people are justified in demanding for a new constitution stating that the current one does not inspire confidence in the governance system of the country.

Mr Chanda has since urged the media to be factual and also play a pivotal role in championing the enactment of a new constitution.
