The opposition Zambians for Empowerment and Development (ZED) says it expects President Michael Sata to give a road map for current constitution making process when he opens Parliament this Friday 19th September.

ZED president Frederick Mutesa says a roadmap for the constitution making process is one of the pending governance issues the PF should address.

Dr. Mutesa has told Qfm News in a telephone interview that his party also expects that his speech to Parliament, President Sata will also state how political violence that has been characterizing the country’s electoral process will be curbed.

He adds that his party further expects that there will be consistency in the key areas the President had pointed out his government will concentrate on in his inaugural address to Parliament.

Dr. Mutesa has cited the fight against corruption, decentralization and the implementation of developmental programs as some of those key areas.

He says Friday’s Presidential speech to Parliament should additionally indicate to the nation where the 2015 budget allocations will go.
