The Patriotic Front ( PF)  in Nakonde district of Muchinga Province hasurged the new party Secretary General, Edgar Lungu, to immediately embark on a party re conciliatory process and  to have a physical interaction with party cadres in lower organs.
In a press statement released to the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in Nakonde today signed by the District Chairman, Joel Chanda, the party in Nakonde urged Mr Lungu to resuscitate the enthusiasm party members had when they were forming the party some years back with the spirit that made them to form Government after the September 20 tripartite elections.
Mr Chanda has also appealed to all members of the PF to rally behind the able leadership of His Excellency, President Michael chilufya Sata, to give the party a walk over victory in 2016 elections.
Meanwhile, Mr Chanda has welcomed the decision taken by Mr Sata, to relieve Mr Wynterr Kabimba of his dual responsibilities as a Minister of Justice and party Secretary General.
He lamented that the PF in Nakonde district was completely side-lined by the secretary general’s office as far as the organisation of the party is concerned.
He added that ever since the PF come into power, the former Secretary General had never visited Nakonde despite many attempts to visit the border town and help in strengthening the party structures.
He charged that the alleged segregative stance that Mr Kabimba took has left party bona fide members vulnerable.
