— Kalulushi MP Mbulu donates education materials to schools in his area

—–Kalulushi Member of Parliament (MP) Rayford Mbulu has donated building materials worth thousands of kwacha to Chisangwa and Chiwempala Primary Schools.

Mr. Mbulu’s donation of window and door frames respectively would go towards the completion of Classroom blocks at the two schools.

ZANIS reports that speaking at the occasion at the two schools today, Mr. Mbulu said government was committed to the promotion of educating for girl child and the boy child.

He added that it was a fundamental right to give a child education and that the PF government wanted descent quality education for the children.

And Chiwempala Primary School headmaster Edward Kolala said the school started as a community school in 1978 and government took over.

Mr. Kolala said the 20 pockets of cement would see the school to roof level.

On the other hand , Mrs. Euphemia Mulenga, a parent said their children used to walk long distances to go to School and that the community with the help of government thought of building a school for them.

And Acting District Education Standards Officer (DESO) Cathrine Kunda praised government for helping the people of Chiwempala and Chisangwa as they had not been left out in the effective teaching programs.

Mrs. Kunda said the ministry of education had provided so much support to the two schools and that they had not been left out on the training in health and nutrition and on the issue of early marriages.
