Friends there is complete breakdown of the rule of law in our country. It is very shocking that 50 years after independence we cannot move freely in our own country. Are we under house arrest and if so for what?

Police tried to block us from proceeding to Limulunga to see our King the Litunga, to comfort him after the recent passing of his dear wife. We are thankful that the Litunga sent his Indunas to come and rescue us.

We had yet another wonderful time in Mongu. We received not less than 500 new members to our cause. In my welcome message, I told our brothers and sisters that with us there are no new and old members. We are all the same, on equal footing. I encouraged them to start working, to start mobilising there and then.

Indeed my friends, the redemption of our beloved country lies squarely with you and me. Let us start mobilising, telling our family members, neighbours, workmates and friends about the alternatives that the UPND offers.
