A remandee at Isoka State Prison charged with theft has escaped from Isoka District Community Hospital.

This has been confirmed by Muchinga Police Deputy Commissioner, Bonny Kapeso.

Mr Kapeso identified the remandee as Mwaka Silwinga, 37, of Nyondo village in Chieftainess Waitwika‘s area of Nakonde district.

The police chief said the incident happened yesterday around 10;00 hours.

He said Silwinga, who is facing charges of theft, was admitted to Isoka hospital after he suffered a genital problem.

The Deputy Police Commissioner said Silwinga escaped after being operated on by a doctor who did not inform officers after he had finished the operation to accompany Silwinga back to the ward.

Mr Kapeso said it is believed that Silwinga had one of his testicles removed.

He said a docket of case for escape from lawful custody has been opened and no arrest has been made.

  1. Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification seemed
to be on the web the easiest thing to be aware of.

I say to you, I certainly get irked while people think about worries that
they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the
whole thing without having side-effects , people could take
a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
