Nkana still has chance—Malitoli
Lusaka, February 10, 2014, ZANIS–Former Nkana and Zambia forward Kenneth
Malitoli says Nkana still has chances of qualifying to the second
round of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) champions league.

Malitoli said despite Nkana trailing by 2 goals to Mbabane Swallows,
the team can still turn the tables when the two teams clash in the
return leg at Kitwe’s Nkana stadium.

In an interview with ZANIS Sports in Lusaka today, Malitoli said if
the Swallows managed to score 2 unanswered goals at their backyard,
there is nothing that can stop Nkana from doing the same.

Malitoli also said the return leg gives Nkana coach Masauso Mwale more
advantage in organising the team tactically.

Yesterday Nkana lost 2 nil away to Mbabane Swallows at Somhlolo
Stadium in Swaziland in the opening game of the CAF champions league.

Nkana will host Mbabane Swallows in the return leg on February 15 at
Nkana stadium in Kitwe with the winner between the two to face either
El Merrek of Sudan or KCCA of Uganda.

Meanwhile, Malitoli said he has no plans of renewing the contract with
his current division one South outfit Livingstone Pirates once the
contract expires this month.

Malitoli however said he is eager to coach any team in Zambia who
might need his coaching services.
