The opposition Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) has called on opposition political parties in the country to convene an urgent indaba to come up with concrete measures on how they are going to save the country from alleged sufferings under the Patriotic Front (PF) government.

Speaking to QFM News in an interview, ZDDM Vice President Charles Kafumbo says to this effect, his party has written letters to all party secretary generals proposing for the opposition political parties to have a national indaba.

Mr. Kafumbo states that all parties are advised to clearly state their agenda before convening for the indaba.

And Mr. Kafumbo further adds that there is need to repeat the 1991 history where stakeholders came together to discuss how the country should be governed because UNIP at that time failed to deliver to the people.

He says the opposition can play a big role in redeeming the country from further damage by the PF administration.
