Nkana snatched late 3-2 win over 2013 CAF Confederation Cup runners-up TP Mazembe in a friendly played in Lubumbashi on Sunday.

The win was Nkana’s first in 2014 from three pre-season matches played so far following a 2-1 loss and 1-1 draw with another DR Congo side Don Bosco on January 20 and 24 respectively.
Meanwhile, Nkana took the lead against Mazembe in the 22nd minute through midfielder Claude Bwalya.
Five minutes later, Mazembe equalised through their Zambia international striker Jonas Sakuwaha to see the two sides go 1-1 into the break.
Lottie Nyambili put Nkana back ahead in the 64th minute to score his second goal in two days after finding the target in their draw with Don Bosco last Friday.
Mazembe defender Salif Coulibaly restored parity via a header in the 69th minute but Nkana stunned their hosts in the 88th minute when striker Shadreck Musonda scored his first goal for his new club since joining them on loan from demoted Kalulushi Modern Stars.
Both Nkana and Mazembe will represent their respective countries in this year’s CAF Champions League.
Nkana play Swaziland side Mbabane Swallows in the preliminary round first leg away on February 9.
Mazembe on the other hand are on bye and await the preliminary round winner of the match between Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Akounangui of Equatorial Guinea.
