Govt urged to work on the roads in Mwinilunga District

Mwinilunga , , January 21^st, 2014, ZANIS — A civic leader in Mwinilunga District has urged government to rehabilitate the economically viable Lumwana west- Kambimba
and Lukwesa – kakoma roads in Mwinilunga district.

Kakoma Ward Councilor Jonathan Chinyimba says the two roads should be rehabilitated soon as they link the country to the neighbouring Angola.

 

 

Mr Chinyimba said following the construction of Kambimba modern border post by government, there is need for a good road network to open up the
area for more economic activities between the two countries.

 

ZANIS reports that the Ward Councillor said the in a statement released in Mwinilunga District, today.

 

He said the two roads are important adding that once worked on they will contribute positively to government’s revenue collection base in the country.

 

Mr Chinyimba has since commended government for the construction of kambimba modern border post in Kakoma ward.
