Republican President Michael Chilufya Sata has reminded Zambians that the country still has a valid constitution which should be upheld by all.

The Head of State has since urged Dr. Ng’andu, who was until his new appointment Bank of Zambia Deputy Governor to uphold the current constitution and not be swayed that the current constitution is not valid.

President Sata adds that the only constitution he recognizes is the one the country is still using and all oaths taken are under the same constitution and thus the need for those appointed to public office to uphold it.

And speaking to Journalists after being sworn-in, Dr. Ng’andu says he will come up with programs on how best he will contribute to the development of the country.

Dr. Ng’andu says he will work hard and ensure that he positively contributes to the growth of the Ministry and the nation at large.
