Opposition Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) has advised the Patriotic Front (PF) government to exercise high level of financial discipline once the 2014 national budget has been approved by Parliament for implementation.
ABZ president Frank Bwalya says much as the PF government has outlined good initiatives in the 2014 national budget, the country will go nowhere in terms of development if the government does exercise fiscal discipline.
Fr. Bwalya says all the revenue government will raise through collection of taxes and external borrowing must be utilized prudently if there is to be any further development in the country.
Fr. Bwalya in an interview with QFM notes that his party does not expect to see another deficit in the national budget as a result of reckless expenditures.
