President Michael Sata has been called upon to redeploy PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba following vote of no confidence passed by the party membership in his leadership as Chief Executive officer of the ruling party.
Mr. Kabimba is facing mounting pressure from party members to step down for alleged poor leadership.
Losing 2011 PF Kapoche constituency parliamentary candidate Paradious Sakala says Mr Kabimba can still be assigned elsewhere within the party if his services are still needed.
Mr. Sakala has observed that the continued stay of Mr. Kabimba as the ruling party’s Chief Executive Officer is only weakening the ruling party.
He says President Sata should seriously consider calls by party members for Mr. Kabimba to step down if the ruling party is to move forward.
Mr. Sakala was speaking to Qfm in an interview.
