POLICE in Kabwe have arrested five former convicts and a 13-year-old boy who went on rampage stealing household goods in Kabwe.

Police have recovered the goods and other electrical items following the arrest of the six.
Central Province Police chief, Standwell Lungu said at a media briefing held at Chowa Police Station where the recovered goods were displayed that the ex-convicts were arrested after the boy they were working with led police to their home.
Mr Lungu said the boy was the first to be apprehended and had in his possession a phone which was stolen from a woman who was attacked using iron bars.
He identified the ex-convicts as Martin Bwalya Mutale, 34, Patson Chikashi, 35, Haggai Kalunga, 19, Evalisto Lungu, 32, and Kelly Zimba, 29, all of Makululu and Katondo townships.
Some of the stolen goods were recovered in Ndola following Police operations.
The six would be charged jointly for burglary and theft while the boy would be further charged for aggravated robbery.
Among the items recovered were six doors which were removed from a house, nine television sets, a DVD player, decoders, fridges, iron sheets, and travelling bags.
