ZAVA president Charles Hambote said in an interview that the two teams, the men and women’s, would start preparing for the qualifiers next weekend.
Hambote said the association has picked players who had no international exposure but was confident they would make it to the next round of qualifiers.
“Its two young teams that need a lot of exposure. We are really not expecting them to give us good results immediately. At the moment it is just about giving them the exposure to play at international level,” Hambote said.
