Mr. Phiri said it is unusual for a company to achieve the loss free record in an industry such as Chilanga who are the major manufacturers of cement in Zambia and across the country.

He said such achievement comes from strict adherence to health and safety management standards and principles.

ZANIS reports that the District Commissioner said this when he officiating at Lafarge Cement’s the ten years anniversary of No Loss Time Injury (LTI) at its Chilanga plant in Lusaka yesterday,

He observed that having the correct attitude and behavior is important in maintaining and sustaining such an achievement.
