Kasama, May 18th, 2013, ZANIS —– Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba has challenged Patriotic Front officials in Northern Province to go flat out and explain the developmental projects that the PF government is carrying in the region.
And Northern Province Minister Obius Chisala thanked Mr. Mwamba for ironing out the perceived differences with the party officials in the province.
Mr. Mwamba says President Michael Sata and his administration is doing a lot in facilitating equitable development across the country.
He observed that PF promised to better the lives of all Zambians and so far government has is on course in achieving its set goals.
Mr. Mwamba, who is also Kasama Central Member of Parliament, was speaking in Kasama today when he met PF officials at different levels of the party.
The MP, who is also Defence minister, has since urged the party officials to put aside their differences and work together for the common good of the people.
He observed that bickering among themselves will not help the party in mobilizing more members.
And speaking at the same function, Northern Province Minister Obius Chisala thanked Mr. Mwamba for ironing out the perceived differences with the party officials in the province.
Mr. Chisala said he is ready to partner with all Members of Parliament in the region to foster development, which the local people are looking forward from the PF Government.
He urged party officials to refrain from talking ill of one another but instead engage in constructive dialogue whenever they have divergent views on issues.
Meanwhile, PF officials in Kasama have overwhelming resolved to work with Kasama Central MP Geoffrey Mwamba is fostering development in the area.
